ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï College of Osteopathic Medicine Celebrates Match Day 2025 for Colorado Campus
PARKER, CO – ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï College of Osteopathic Medicine (ÍøÆسԹÏCOM) celebrated Match Day 2025 with the anticipated 336 graduates of the 2025 class as they learned where they will be completing their residency training. Â
Match Day is one of the most anticipated milestones in a medical student’s journey, marking the culmination of years of dedication and training. Each year, medical students nationwide participate in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP or Match), where graduating medical students from across the country are notified of where they will train for residency and in which medical field they will complete their medical training. The process, which begins months in advance, is a journey of anticipation and excitement as students submit applications and interview with residency programs, leading up to the third Friday in March – Match Day.
99% of ÍøÆسԹϒs Class of 2025 successfully matched into residency programs across the country, securing placements in competitive specialties, including Neurosurgery, General Surgery, Internal Medicine/Pediatrics, and Dermatology. Primary care remains a strong focus for ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï graduates, with 52% matching into Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics.
Dr. Heather Ferrill, Dean of ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï College of Osteopathic Medicine, expressed her pride in ÍøÆسԹÏ: “At ÍøÆسԹÏ, we are committed to preparing our students for success in residency and beyond. This year’s Match results are a testament to the strength of our curriculum, faculty mentorship, and the hard work of our students.â€
For Match Day 2025, ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï students matched into residency programs across 41 states, with the largest number heading to Colorado, Arizona, Texas, and California. Among them, 28 students secured military residency placements, where they will serve as future physician leaders in the armed forces, reflecting ÍøÆسԹϒs commitment to service and excellence in medical education.Â
