Match Day is one of the most anticipated milestones in a medical student鈥檚 journey. Each year in March, graduating students across the country learn where they will complete their residency training. At precisely the same time, thousands of envelopes are opened to reveal the next step in their medical careers鈥攎arking the culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and a little bit of nerves and excitement. It鈥檚 a celebration of achievement, opportunity, and the future of medicine.

Match Day 2026 Spotlight: Christopher Perez
Christopher鈥檚 path to medicine wasn鈥檛 linear. After struggling in undergrad, he rebuilt his academic record, earned a spot in 网曝吃瓜鈥檚 MSBS program, and finished in the top 1鈥�2% of his class. From mastering ultrasound skills to mentoring fellow military students, he found confidence and his calling along the way.
Now, as an Army HPSP student, he鈥檚 matched into a competitive general surgery residency in El Paso, motivated by the communities he鈥檒l serve and the journey that shaped him.
"One day I鈥檒l be able to walk into a room and fix the issue within a couple of hours, see the patient outpatient a few days later, and know they鈥檙e doing better because of an incision I made" he says.

How Did 网曝吃瓜 Perform in the 2025 Match?
网曝吃瓜 is proud to celebrate a 99% residency placement rate for the Class of 2025. Our students secured positions in 41 states across a wide range of specialties including dermatology, neurosurgery, general surgery, anesthesiology, urology, and pediatrics. More than half (52%) of our graduates matched into primary care, with 26% entering family medicine and 19% going into internal medicine.
